Chittorgarh Fort, or Chittor Fort, is one of the largest forts in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in Rajasthan, and sacrifice. Its sits on a 180m high hill and covers 700 acres near the Gambhiri River in Rajasthan. Chittorgarh is called the pride of Rajasthan. The fort represents the Rajputs motto of fighting till death rather than surrendering. After Akbar’s attack in 1568, it was never the capital again, but it remains a powerful symbol of honor and scrifice

  • Vijay Stambha: 37m tall,9-stoy victory tower built by Rana Kumbha in 1448.
  • Kirti Stambha: 22m tall,12th-century Jain tower dedicated to Adinath.
  • Rana Kumbha Palace: Oldest part of the fort. Birth place of Maharana Udai Singh.
  • Padmini Palace: Where Alauddin Khilji was shown Rani Padmini’s reflection.
  • Meera Tample & Kumbha Shyam Temple: Associated with poet-saint Meera Bai.
  • Gaumukh Reservoir: Holy water tank fed by a natural spring from a cow-mouth shaped rock
