Shri Punrasa rBalaji Temple is a highly revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Hanman , located in the bikaner district of Rajasthan, India. Eastablished in 1718, it is faomous for its location on the sand dunes of the Thar Desert, the Jhadula (mundan\head-shaving) ritulas performed near its ancient Khejdi tree, and its traditional Churma parsad. the located in punrasar village, appoximately 57km from bikaner City along National Highway11 (NH-11). It is easily reachable by car, taxi, or local buses, with well -connected all-weather roads leading directly to the village. according to legend, the temple was founded by Jairam Das Bothra, a devotee whose camel broke its leg during a journey. distressed, he prayed to lord Hanuman, who appeared to him in a dream as a pandit. the priest instructed Bothra to take an idol of Hanuman and build a temple for it. when Bothra mentioned his injured camel, the pandit assured him the animal was healed, which Bothra found to be true upon waking. the temple has since been managed by the successors of the Bothra family.
